Housing Services

The Resident Services Department is responsible for the administration of the Low Income Rental and Homeownership Programs which includes:
  • Receiving and processing new applications
  • Verifying applicant eligibility for low income housing programs
  • Recommending applicant approval to Board of Commissioners
  • Processing criminal background checks
  • Conducting annual home inspections
  • Monitoring rent and house payment status
  • Generating delinquency notices
  • Processing annual and interim recertifications
  • Conducting workshops for new homebuyers
  • Enforcing terms of rental lease, homebuyer and mutual help agreements
  • Managing the low income rental properties
  • Tenant and homebuyer counseling
  • Working with delinquent accounts to prevent eviction
  • Preparing court documents for eviction
  • Processing annual updates for Waiting Lists
  • Coordinating community events

Homebuyer & Tenant Forms

Click on a link below to print a form. It is extremely important that all tenants, homebuyers, and individuals on the waiting lists keep their contact information current at all times. Individuals on the waiting lists who do not submit an annual update will be removed. Documents can be submitted by email, fax, mail or dropped in the box at the Housing Office. We are limiting public access to our office and requesting that all forms be mailed.
